Poor Thing

Mi canción favorita del musical de Sweeney Todd, las canciones de la película no me agradan mucho :-? con exepción de un par que son mejores ahí que en el musical xD
La Sra. Lovett (Angela Lansbury) le cuenta a Sweeney (George Hearn) sobre lo que pasó con su esposa e hija cuando fue deportado y averigua que él es Benjamin Barker.

Esta canción es mi favorita por la forma que tiene ella de actuar (y cantar) luego voy a poner la de los peores pasteles de londres y una que me gusta más en la peli que en el musical xD





Mrs. Lovett:

Todd:
Transported you said? What was his crime?


Mrs. Lovett:

Foolishness.

Mrs. Lovett:

Oh, you poor thing. You poor thing. Wait!
See! When they come for the little girl, I hid 'em. I thought,
who knows? Maybe the poor silly blighter'll be back again
someday and need 'em. Cracked in the head, wasn't I?
Times as bad as they are, I could have got five, maybe ten
quid for 'em, any day. See? You can be a barber again.
